review purposes until they have been signed off by WACC.  It is therefore important that such matters be directed to the local Architecture Committee as early as practical, and prior to beginning ANY portion of the lot clearing or construction effort.  The WACC Office can provide the necessary local forms and contacts.

Recreation Policies

The recreation facilities within the development are all owned by WACC and are available for the exclusive, noncommercial use of property owners and their guests.  These are not public facilities.

There are inherent risks associated with using such facilities, and due caution must therefore be exercised.  In particular, parental supervision must be exercised over children using the recreation facilities.

When using the park area, the tennis courts or the boat ramp, property owners, house guests and renters should carry ID cards or guest passes and present them if requested.  Please do not be offended if you are asked to verify that you are indeed a resident.  Cards and passes are available at the WACC Office, which is also the source for property owner keys to the tennis courts and boat ramp: a key deposit is required.

Planning a group function for the recreation (park) area should always begin with a stop at the WACC Office.  Reservations are required for groups, and there are some conditions and a reservation request form associated with such an event, so allow plenty of time to process the reservation request.

Golf Course Policies

Our nine hole golf course, putting green and driving range are open seasonally, as weather permits, generally from late April to late October each year.  Rules for the use of the course may be obtained at the Pro Shop or from the WACC Office.  The golf course is open to the public, but property owners and their guests are offered reduced rates.  Tee times may be reserved several days in advance by contacting the Pro Shop.

Dogs

Under both County ordinance and our local CC&Rs, dogs must be maintained on a leash except when on the owner's premises.  Common courtesy requires that owners clean up after their dogs.
